This notice explains how the personal data of visitors to this website is handled, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and the applicable Italian legislation (Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended).
1. Data controller

2. Types of data collected
- Browsing data. The systems and software procedures that run this website collect, in the course of their normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols (for example IP addresses, browser and device type, request times). This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check that it is working correctly.
- Data provided voluntarily. This site is an informational showcase and does not feature contact forms, registration or restricted areas: no identifying data is therefore collected directly from visitors. Sending a message to the addresses shown involves processing the sender's contact details, which are needed in order to reply.
3. Purposes and legal basis
Browsing data is processed to allow the site to be used and to keep it secure and working correctly (legal basis: the legitimate interest of the controller, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Any data provided by email is processed in order to respond to the request (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR).
4. Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses no profiling cookies and no tracking or analytics tools. Only technical cookies necessary for the site to function may be used, and for these the law does not require the visitor's consent.
Every resource needed to display these pages (fonts, images, video, stylesheets and scripts) is hosted directly on the site's own server: browsing involves no connection to any third-party server, and therefore no disclosure of the visitor's IP address to anyone other than the controller and its hosting provider. The site embeds no remote fonts, analytics tools, maps, social widgets or embedded content.
The site does contain links to external platforms (Instagram, Facebook, the Fattorie Garofalo website): following them takes the visitor to third-party sites, governed by their own privacy notices.
Visitors can in any case manage or delete technical cookies through their browser settings.
5. Place of processing and retention
Processing takes place at the controller's premises and/or at the site's hosting provider. Browsing data is kept only for as long as is strictly necessary for the purposes described, and in any case within the limits set by law.
6. Disclosure of data
Data is not disseminated. It may be processed by authorised personnel and by technical service providers (for example hosting and site maintenance) appointed as data processors under Art. 28 GDPR.
7. Your rights
Visitors may at any time exercise the rights set out in Arts. 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to processing, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
